Living Affordability

The Mayflower offers two plans designed to suit each person’s individual needs.

1. TRADITIONAL PLAN

A one-time non-refundable fee is paid for the privilege of living in the apartment for as long as the resident(s) are able to do so safely. The entrance fee is not refunded when the resident moves out. 

2. REFUNDABLE PLAN

A prorated portion of the Entrance Fee is returnable to the resident or their estate during the first 96 months of occupancy when the resident moves out, and the apartment is resold.  

(Refund schedule:  Year 1 – 80%; Year 2 – 70%; Year 3 – 60%; Year 9 – 0%)

SERVICE FEES

Apartment monthly fees provide the vast array of the Mayflower’s services and amenities that include:

  • Utilities: electricity, heating/air conditioning, water, sewer and recycling
  • Cable TV (Mediacom Family Package)
  • Trash disposal
  • Ceiling fans
  • Shared washers and dryers (no charge), if not available in the apartment
  • Storage unit (40”x 40”x 8’)
  • Regular maintenance and repair service, including appliances, grounds, and landscaping, common area housekeeping
  • Use of meeting and dining rooms and building lounges
  • Fitness and recreation centers, including the Obermiller Center and Wellness Rooms.
  • Priority access to health center and assisted living services (space-available basis)
  • Chaplaincy and counseling services
  • Transportation to local activities and scheduled shopping

Internet service and meals are available at an additional fee.
