One more sign of progress through the pandemic: The Grinnell group, “Sit ‘n Knit,” is again meeting. Devoted to sitting while knitting or other crafting while talking just a bit, many members live in The Mayflower Community. Therefore, a number of meetings of this social group have been held in Mayflower residents’ homes as well as Mayflower meeting areas.
During the pandemic, Sit ‘n Knit suspended their gatherings. They have now had two sessions—one in a Mayflower Harwich Terrace patio home and one (pictured) in Mayflower’s Anchor Room.
One more sign that life is again emerging.
