SERVING THE CHURCH THROUGHOUT THE YEARS
Founded in 1950, the Mayflower ministry has grown and flourished. Over 1,000 people have lived on the Mayflower Campus since its beginning. Many were members of the United Church of Christ (UCC), and this strong tie continues today. However, more than half of all residents are members of other faith traditions.
Over 100 UCC pastors, lay workers, and their spouses from Iowa and the world have lived at the Mayflower. These people have received financial support from the Montgomery Church Leaders Foundation, an endowment created to provide credit toward the Mayflower entrance fee. This significant contribution is a tangible expression of the continuing concern for church and ministry.
SERVING THE CHURCH… TODAY AND TOMORROW
Mayflower also serves the church through pulpit supply and provision of speakers and educational seminars for churches and associations across the state. Each presentation can be tailored to the interests and needs of the participants. Church groups are welcome to visit Mayflower. Tours, programs, and meeting space can be arranged.
