Here is an excerpt from the Grinnell United Methodist Church newsletter published on Friday, January 25th: “The Christmas Dinner served on December 25th was a great success! The fellowship hall bulged with about 140 guests enjoying appetizers and a traditional Christmas meal while being serenaded by young people around the piano. Moreover, about 80 meals were delivered to homes. Scott Gruhn of the Mayflower cooked the hot food. All of you (the many people involved) helped to give a “warm embrace” to many in our community on Christmas Day!” Marc and Marion Chamberland
