In a time of other celebrations—May Day, Spring, Mother’s Day—The Mayflower Community hosted a “Ladies’ Day Tea” for residents of the Health Center and Beebe Assisted Living on Tuesday, May 4th. Besides beautiful flowers and baskets, Mayflower served up a delicious treat, as is our reputation.
The food produced in the Mayflower kitchens under the direction of Foodservices Supervisor, Jacob Staroska, included a lemon, blueberry fluff with raspberry sauce and a roasted tomato bruschetta with cream cheese and a balsamic drizzle. Ice tea and lemonade were served. Yum!
