During the week of Christmas, Mayflower staff members dressed for the celebration. On Sunday “Pajama Day,” nurse Donna Puls was an elf in “too warm” flannel pajamas. Between resident cares, the “Elf was on the Shelf.”
For Monday’s “Christmas Characters Day,” we had reindeer, a human Christmas tree complete with flashing lights, and “Christmas Story’s” Ralphie in the rabbit suit hand-sewn by his aunt.
For Tuesday’s “Ugly Sweater Day,” there were some…ugh, unique sweaters. By the way, working in a winter sweater can get really warm!
For Wednesday’s (Christmas Day), the staff displayed “Christmas Accessory Day.” From Santa hats to blinking-light socks, Christmas was on display.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!
