John Noer, a resident of Grinnell, Iowa’s Mayflower Community, is now 60% complete with his 40,000 piece Disney-themed puzzle. Pictured here is the Bambi sub-puzzle, the sixth of 10. John just completed this one and is starting on the seventh.
The first six frames are being stored in The Mayflower Community “Basement Crafts Room” in the Edwards building where John is using two six-foot tables side-by-side for the puzzle assembly.
The 40,000 piece Ravensburger puzzle is a product of the Ravensburg, Germany based company. It is touted as the “World’s Largest Puzzle.” When complete and the 10 frames are connected, the puzzle will measure 6’ by 22’. After it is glued together, where will it hang? That site has not yet been announced.
