On Monday, September 20th, Poweshiek County’s Mighty Golden Clovers 4H Club presented The Mayflower Community’s Health Center and Beebe Assisted Living residents with 20 hand-made blankets. The event was organized by Mayflower’s Community Life and Wellness staff.
After competing at the Poweshiek County Fair and the Iowa State Fair, 4H members went to work on making practical and welcome gifts—warm blankets. Club leader, Stacy Turley and her daughter Molly delivered the blankets on behalf of other members of Mighty Golden Clovers who were busy around Poweshiek County in school activities.
